Real clear sun till nearly
11 a.m Then
clouded up cold & grey. Went home
fagged out. No moment
of privacy.
14 Fri
Clear till 11 then grey
with faint spasms of sun.
Same routine as above. Oh for
an hour or two of warmth
& privacy combined.
15 Sat
Sun early but soon
got very grey. Rain at end of day.
Miss Hodgson & I went to hear
C. Butt & Kennerley Rumford
at Albert Hall accompanied by
massed bands. Programme
insult to intelligence
& a crime against art.
