Showery day. Worked all day
on report for
Mary & Rose. They took me
to lunch at
Russell Hotel. Mrs French
called at 6. I del. [delivered] report to
Euston at 7.45 & went home
thoroly fatigued & crawled to
bed.
2 Fri
Showery day. Mary & Rose
in & out. Called up Fred. Very
tired. S. McKay called up about his throat.
J. Varney came in & left some MSS &
said he was off to Glasgow.
3 Sat
Girls came in & after lunch
I took them to Minerva Café to see
colonial troops farewell march
Then to tea at Russell. I
returned to office for a couple
hours blessed privacy
Home very tired.
