20 Sun
At Miss Hodge's. Slept in
afternoon. Very tired.
Got cold & grey.
Spots on face worrying me.

21 Mon
Went to office at 10. back to lunch
at 1.30. Read a Jane Austen
novel.

22 Tues
Called on Canadian
Press Assoc. in morning. Dr Burnham
called on me & saw face. Fred came out
to dinner with me & Miss Hodge
Jno. V. came in twice during day.

23 Wed
G. & Mrs Maquay came to tea at 6.
At 8 I went to John's room & Fred
came also. Talked till 10.30 & then Fred
saw me home. Nice & mild so we had
a pleasant walk towards Finchley.
