Warm fine day. Busy in
office. Called on John to see if he
was all right. ['Fred rang up' crossed out]

Fred & I had dinner at Spanish
Café & went out to call on Miss
Hodge & Miss Newcomb. Lovely
night.

14 Wed
Got home exhausted
& then had to do a [bonfire?]
till I was sick.
