Cold, showery, windy. Fred came at
3.10. We went out walking & sat
under a hedge & then home to
supper.
Read "Autumn Sowing" by Benson.

30 Mon
Cold & grey & wet. Did a lot of
stencils & got home early &
finished pink lamp shade.
Foggy & dark lights during day - fire

July 1 Tues
Cold, wet & grey. Fire
Fred rang up at noon. We met at
Flemings' for dinner and thence
out to Temple Fortune Court for
a yarn

2 Wed
Very sick & tired & Miss
Hodge wd. insist on reading to
me & preventing sleep.
Fred called up about Mary Dreiers
parcels.
