Grey day collapsing into
rain in
afternoon. Mr A. Maj Lovelock
& I leathered off to conf at
Wembley. Lanchester, Lovelock,
Aldridge, Elgood, Coppock,
Cameron & others spoke.
After lunch the conf. adjourned
to Palace of Art and looked
at town planning charts &
then disbanded, looked at pictures
& thence to Australian &
Canadian, Burmese, Indian
etc courts & so tired at
5 p.m that we plopped home
in the wind & rain.
