Norman & I rode about paddocks among sheep in morning and in afternoon went to bore. Saw 7 adult emus capering across the plain. Mr Long, a neighbour, came to dinner in evening.

Lovely warm morning Norman drove me to Cubbaroo Siding. We saw a quail and looked at Brigelow en route. Got into carriage with Donaldson ex- M.P. for Tumut. Prof. Griffith-Taylor & another younger man who had been out to see aboriginals

Aunts S & L. Mother & F. Mrs Fogden & Winnie, Mrs Jenkins, Miss Gillespie Eva & I went on a blackberrying expedition to Sutherland. A thunderstorm came on & we took refuge for day with Mr & Mrs Daniel Slade, Miranda, Sutherland P.O. All had a pic nic lunch there & fruit from orchard. In afternoon looked for b. berries found none. Went home very tired.

Father & I went into town to bank & got tickets thence to "gossip" (Mr & Mrs R. McMillan at Darlinghurst) Thence to supper with Tal and Eva at Paddington Thence to Eva's mother Thence home
