Terrible day of strain.
Mr Gaunt called & we went over
house & talked quite unders-
tandingly with me - but
they are archaic roosters.
Mr Marsden stayed till 7.30
& then poor old Harold
came in shocked & hurt
& worried. I had a bit of
toast & tea & went home
shivering to bed
