top of hard snow pave-
ments slightly slippery &
suggestive of U.S.A. Miss
H & I had lunch of cauli-
flower in office & I went
to see Oscar Asche & Co in
"The Good Old days" at Gaiety
- never was so perished- had
to run around the block
in intervals to keep from
freezing. Home & to bed
exhausted. Miss Furbank
brought me up my dinner.
