Shook Mrs A. off by sending her
to Mrs Lanchester and escaped to
my room. Went to Lady Byles
for supper & was not very well. She
bless her dear heart told me to call on
her for £100, if need be. Just getting
nicely sleepy at 10.45 when Mrs A. came.
Too hurt to sleep at 41 Russell Sq
but not too hurt to bath there
- this is a muddled mind.
Still exalting the absconder.
