DECEMBER 1925
Very cold frosty morning, had
to bundle out [entered between dates]
Sunday 6
on Mrs A's affairs. Gave her
£17 to go to Paris. Crossed to
Russell Sq & rang up about
trains etc, telegraphed Miss Lawson
so tired I crept away at
3 & left her to Mrs Hughes.
Coughed all day & night &
cursed Mrs A. for it. Had
to bludgeon some things
into her deluded wits and
she at length consented to
consider her pretty pet
crocodile mad.
