June 24th Monday
We never felt the want of a drying room
so much as we have done this month
there is upwards of 8 thousand pieces for
the steamer, and our town customers besides.
Tuesday 25th
Annie Boyd was taken home by
her [underlined] Mother [end underlined] with the ladies Sub Com'e
consent. Emily Jenkins & Eliza Logan were
admitted, also George Ann Carlow that was brought
in by her mistress.
Wednesday 26th
Called at Mr. Aytons to ask if we
could have a regular supply of good
authodox men to address the inmates
on the Sabbath. they promised to do what
they could to help us in this important
matter. Rev J. Graham told me Mr. Ayton was a suitable man.
