Rev'd W. Robson 3 oclk. No Minister
in the eve'g. Bible class prayers &
singing instead. All quiet and orderly.
Monday
Kate McMahon's case is very hopefull,
she retires to her room ^[sup] after tea [end sup] almost every eve'g,
and sits on her bed, [underlined] in the dark! [end underlined] singing
one of her favourites in "Jesus [del] refuge [del] ^ [sup] love [end sup] of my soul
Let me to thy bosom fly" &c
Tuesday
J Pickering came back soon after
Charlotte was brought back by a Police man.
The police have rendered us great service.
Eliza Lane was taken home by her father.

The rain has put a stop to our
Panama business again, if it continues
I don't know what will become of us.
Such a number of girls too, and very little
sewing.
