Feb'y 8th Saturday,
The rooms are having an extra
scrub'g. In the afternoon they were chiefly
occupied in patching their clothes for
tomorrow.

Sabbath 9th
Rev'd W. Mills preached 11 oclk.
Mr Roseby 3oclk and Mr. Lee in the morning.
All the inmates well, except Bridget McCann
she has a bad leg. Dr. Nathan attends her.

Monday 10th
We are in great need of clothing for the
inmates.

Tuesday 11th
Called with Jane Drew and M. A Ward, at
Miss Fowlers' office to enquire if she had suitable
situations for them, and as she had not, took them
to Mrs. Capps. Mr. Roberts called for them
at 12 oclk. M. A. Ward engaged to service at
Rev'd Priddle Liverpool. Jane Drew very
sorrowfull [sorrowful] because she did not get employment
Maria Smith wants to go out, but was refused.
