October 5th
Monday.
Not one inmate has left this Refuge
without having heard the good news of Salvation
We have often felt very happy talking to each
other and singing about the "better land."
I have often been told by those who have left the
Refuge that when far away they long to join
with us at prayers.

Teusday 6th
Sub Comt. met. 4 ladies present
M.A.Burns is very exitable, for the most
trifling provocation, she throws herself into a
passion, but says to me "however angry I feel if you
speak to me I go away calm and comforted."

Wednesday 7th
Mr. Robins told us this evening that Juslia Gibson
said (on her death bed) that she "blessed God that she
ever came to the Refuge. for two reasons, first
because she heard about Jesus and salvation,
and 2nd because it was a good home." where she met
with great kindness -
