May 18th
Mrs. Magregor and Mrs Mills visited.
A young girl (Kate Williams) has asked
for admission she has been on the
streets for the last two months. Mrs Mills
was here, at the time and considered
it advisable that she should be taken
in and wait the consent of the Sub
Committee for admission.

19th
Charlotte Stanley spoke rudely to
Miss Holland this morning, about
the favor shown by her to some of the
Inmates regarding their food.
Mrs Goodlet visited during the morning
when she enquired into the matter.
I informed Mrs Goodlet that the Corporation
men had been very insulting to some of
the young girls, she advised that the
house doors should not be unlocked
until the men have left the premises.
The Dean of Sydney held evening Service.

20th
No visitors to-day the weather has
been very wet.

21st
Mrs Caldwell visited. Mrs Magregor
has sent a box of oranges for the
Inmates. Mrs Jones visited
Miss Holland and the Laundress went
out this afternoon.
