Mr Neenan called to say he would
be here to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock
and left one sovereign for Mary Ann
to procure boots and a hat to go away
in. Miss Holland purchased them for her.
Revd Mr Bode held an evening service.

5th
Mary Ann Mitchell was married this
morning to John Neenan by the Revd
Mr Pidgeon in the Committee Room.
Ladies General Committee
Dr Nathan called and prescribed for
Fanny Chapman and Martha Buckle.
The Laundress (Mrs Crantham) left this
Institution this evening.

6th
Mr Drury cut off two branches [?] from the
Willow trees that over hang the
Laundry and drying room.
Miss Holland went out this afternoon.
Maria Leach has been very quarrelsome
and violent this evening because
Harriet Penketh took the lamp from
the passage for a minute to wipe
up some water she had upset on
the landing, which prevented her
from finishing some needle work for
a short time, the passage not being
the proper place to be sitting to work.
I must forbid the practice for the future.
