Notwithstanding the very wet
weather the greater part of the town
washing has been sent home.
Miss Holland went out this afternoon.
The Laundress left after tea.
Mrs M Jones Visited.

Sabbath 16th
Rev'd W. Mills conducted morn'g Service
Mr Gibson afternoon Do
I went out to morning Service
Miss Holland evening Do
The Laundress returned before evening
service. I read to the Inmates during the
evening.

Monday 17th Johanna Smith and Lizzie Darnes are both behaving very well the
former is much quieter in her manner
the latter has been washing well during the last week.
The Laundress went out this evening

Tuesday 18th
Mrs G F Wise visited
Ladies Sub Committee

Wednesday 19th
Mrs Lewin has been very rude
to the Laundress to day I spoke
to her upon the subject saying I should
be obliged to report such conduct
after which she was most insolent, to
the Laundress abusing her and myself
saying she did not care for us at the
Committee either.
Mr Robins held evening service
