Another attempt of an escape Frances Kendall helped Dolly Galvin over the garden wall, the Laundress was just in time to prevent her going over the drying ground wall.

Monday
26th The Matron wrote to Dolly's Mother to inform her of Dolly's determination to get away, advising her to come to the Committee for their advice.
