A Very wet day Mrs Barraclough visited

Ladies Sub Committee
Catherine Gibbon being very refractory
in the Laundry insulting the Laundress
and threatening to throw something at
her was reported to the Committee
who told her she must go away, she
was insolent to the Ladies but eventually
was taken next door by Miss Williams.
Latter on the Nuns refused to receive
her and she sat outside our Door
until a Policeman moved her away
