The Matron's Journal read. The Ladies proposed a Christmas Tree for the Inmates and Subscribed each Lady present 3s/ towards it requesting the Matron to write to the Ladies of the Committee not present asking for their subscription. 15 pupils Saturday 4th Sub Matron & Laundress out for the afternoon & evenings Sunday 5th Mr Wilson called to say he could not take the Service as his Wife was waiting for him in Pitt Street.
