Wednesday July 22nd Agnes Orne[?] gone as general servant to Mrs. Moore of Thornton Hill at 5/- per week. 8 pupils

Thursday 23rd Nothing of importance to record. 7 pupils

Friday 24th. Revd. C. F. Garnsey conducted service. Mr. Hague C. M. called asking that Agnes Wilson might be received The Matron told him she did not feel justified in taking her back she having escaped over the wall of the drying ground but recommended her to come before the Ladies Committee on Tuesday next. Elizabeth Bickmore gone as general servant to Mrs. Morris at 6/- per week. 6 pupils

Saturday 25th Laundress out for afternoon & evening.

Sunday 26th. Mr. Winks conducted afternoon service Mr. Hartley evening Do. [ditto] Teacher out to service

Monday 27th. Annie O'Brien ["Neil" crossed out] asked admission and was received 3 pupils

Tuesday 28th. Ladies Sub Committee. Annie O'Brien ["Neil" crossed out] admitted. Miss Niblett applied for the situation of Laundress the Committee recommended her to come to the Institution for a week to watch the working before being engaged. 3 pupils

Wednesday 29th Nothing of importance to record 5 pupils Thursday 30th Mr Alfred Cook conducted evening service Friday 5 pupils 31st Miss Williams brought Rebecca Stevenson to be received Katie Sullivan asked admittance and was again received 6 pupils

Saturday August 1st Teacher out for the afternoon Matilda King left this evening for her situation as general servant to Mrs Tindale of Saint Gwyllan at 10/ per week.

Sunday 2nd Mr Hopkins conducted morng service Mr Doulton evening ditto Matron & Officers out to their usual services

Monday 3rd Miss Noblett arrived Tuesday 6 pupils 4th Ladies Sub Committee Rebecca Stevenson, Katie Sullivan Mary Roberts & Jane Cross admitted Mary Ann Joy asked to leave the Institution no persuasion could keep her. 5 pupils Revd J Wilkinson conducted the afternoon service. Wednesday 5th Mr Cooper conducted evening service Thursday 6 pupils 6th Mr Fletcher conducted evening service 6 pupils

Friday Augst 7th Rev'd C.F. Garnsey conducted service. No General Committee a very quiet day 5 pupils

Saturday 8th. Miss Garden left the Institution. Miss i took her situation as Laundress. Sub Matron and Laundress out for the afternoon.

Sunday 9th Mr. Rowsell conducted morng serevice. Revd. Orr ditto afternon ditto Mr. Dobbin evening ditto. The Matron and Officers went to their usual services.

Monday 10th. The Laundress first day's work all quietly working. Tuesday 4 pupils 11th Ladies Sub Committee Martha Adshead spoken to in person her husband asking to take her home. Dr. Norrie visited wrote an order for Mary Cameron to be sent to the Coast Hospital & recommending that Emma Anderson suffering from an abscess on her hand should be sent to the Sydney Hospital Wednesday 4 pupils 12th Emma Anderson taken to the Hospital an Ambulance from the Coast Hospital took Mary Cameron away Miss Williams brought Ada Smith to be received 5 pupils.

Tuesday 3 pupils 18th Ladies Sub Committee Ada Smith admitted Kate Coleman & Harriet O'Neil spoken to upon the completion of their time in this Institution and situations awaiting them. Mary Halloran asked to leave the Institution the Ladies could not give their consent to such a request

Wednesday 4 pupils 19th Nothing of importance to record.

Thursday 6 pupils 20th Harriet O'Neil gone as general servant to Revd. McCoy of Berry at 8/- per week.

Friday 6 pupils 21st. Revd. C. F. Garnsey conducted service. Mr Thomas came in according to promises 5 pupils

Mr. Mills conducted eveng service Thursday 27th Mr Alfred Cook conducted eveng service Friday 28th 6 pupils Revd. C. F. Garnsey conducted service Mr Garnsey called with a young woman wanting to place a sister in some Institution where she would be kept within bounds as she could not manage her. Kate Coleman gone as general service to Mrs. Tindale of Bennora at 10/- per week. Saturday 5 pupils 29th. Hettie Lee brought by her Sister. Mr. Rowsell gave the Inmates a very pleasant entertainment with his Magic Lantern.
