Timber Certificates and Preferred Stock now held by the said Calhoun.

And a recess of said meeting was taken until 11 o'clock Saturday, October 24, 1903.
October 24, 1903, 11 o'clock A.M., no quorum being present a recess was taken until Monday, October 26th, 1903, at 11 o'clock A.M.

October 26th, 1903, 11 o'clock A.M., the Board of Directors met, a quorum being present, viz:

F. C. Marshall,
Jay O. Moss,
S. B. Cooper,
Chas. L. Atterbury,
J. A. Whitaker

Thereupon the following resolution was offered by Mr. Chas L. Atterbury, seconded by Mr. Jay O. Moss and unanimously adopted:

Resolved, that the President of this Company be and he is hereby authorized to execute the following petition to the Hon. John J. Dobler, the Judge of the Circuit Court No. 2, of Baltimore, Maryland, viz:-

To the Honorable John J. Dobler,

The Judge of the Circuit Court No. 2 of Baltimore City:-

We, the undersigned individuals and corporations, all of whom are creditors of the Maryland Trust Company in large amounts, respectfully request Your Honor not to make an appointment of a Co-Receiver in this cause, but to retain Allen McLane, Esq., as the sole Receiver of the Maryland Trust Company.

We do this after mature deliberation, and for what we strongly believe to be the best interests of all concerned, and in order that this trust may be managed expeditiously and economically.
