¶And prechid hom of crⁱstindom · ⁊ of ourre louirdis lawe.
Þat godir hele him ⁊ alle is · wolde he þer to drawe.
Hy bi hete him þe ioye of heuene · þa^t so riche was ⁊ is.
Þat he ssholde terne atir þis lif · to þulke ioye ⁊ blis.
¶And be þer wyþoute ende · wiþ god þa^t ous boȝte.

As ichabbe more vndirȝete · werre þis message be trewe.

And vor mine gode as ȝe seggeþ · ⁊ doþ me vndirstonde.
¶Greiu nolle ich ou noȝt · ac wel vairre be ȝou do.
And vndiruonge ⁊ vinde ȝou eke þa^t ȝeo habbiþ neode þer to.
And i^c granti alle eke · þa^t wolliþ to ȝou terne.
Gode leue ich ȝeue eche mon · ynelle noman werne.
¶Þis was atte verste me þenchiþ · god by gunnynge.
Þer aftir was þe beterre hope · to come to god endinge.

¶He turne him to cristindom · ⁊ let him baptisi anon.
And bileuid on Ihesu crist · ⁊ is men echon.
