William Blount Governor in and
over the Territory of the United States
south of the river Ohio.
To David Henley Esquire Agent for the
Department of war.
Pay to William Rickard Pay-Master pro tem.
To the Troops in the Territory aforesaid, six
hundred and ninety three dollars, seventy five
cents out of the money in your hands appropri-
-ated for the defensive protection of the frontiers
for the pay of a Detachment of Mounted Infantry
of Mero District, Col.o Isaac Roberts, Regiment
under the command of Captain John Parks from
the fourteenth of April to the twenty eighth of
April 1794, agreeably to pay roll and your-
report there on of this date, for which this shall
be your warrant.
Given at Knoxville under my hand
and seal this 7th July 1795.
