Dear Sir
I take the liberty of addressing myself to you in this manners and requesting to be appointed Commissioner to take acknowledgements of Deeds, affidavits depositions & in the State of New York to be used in your State. I reside in the City of New York to be used in your State. I reside in the City of New York and have my office in Wall Street in the centre of its business and it would be a great source of satisfaction to me as well as of accomodation to those who require such a commissioner that I should have such power. I have ventured to address you in my own name supposing that in my case the request will not need to be backed by any of my numerous friends.
