Is is expected in this part of this County, that Judge March banks has or is about to resign his seat on the Circuit Bench, if so please permit me, to name Major James P. Thompson of McMinnville for your Consideration, to fill the vacancy Mayor Thompson is a Lawyer of Character, and a Gentleman of High Standing, and his friends would be much qualified of his appointment, I entertain no doubt he would give given (general?) satisfaction
