The Commissioners here looking upon
the late election as void would have [advertised?]
anew but for the request of a majority
the stockholders that they should wait a
[bit as?] if possible make an amicable
adjustment [written?] our present differences

I have only say in conclusion that
we are willing to withdraw entirely; or
to let the other party withdraw & we will
build the road as we are willing to advertise
anew let all the stock from Memphis &
Raleigh. [Leaks?]. Middlebrough & Bolivar come
in with the full amount of stock taken
here and hold a new election.

But if those claiming to be President & Directors
perservere in their present comsr & [suend?] in
getting the subscription of the state, every bond
issued upon that subscription will be a loss
to the state for if we are driven to extremes
