To all who shall see these Presents Greeting

Commissioned and appointed special Judge of the
Supreme Court of Errors & Appeals permanent to
the provisions of an act of the General Assembly
of this State Passed at Murfreesboro on the 5' day
of December 1825 entitled "An Act to provide [page damaged]
Court for the trial of Causes in the [sup?] [page damaged]
"in Cases wherein the present Court an [page damaged]
to hear & determine the following [cases if?] [page damaged]
duly [page damaged] to me that there is not a sufficient
number of the present Court to [? ?] now
sitting at Sparta. - to wit
Alexander Young vs Ralph Crabb & others.- James G. Martin & others [Lesse?] vs William
Johnston. - James G. Martin & others [Lesse?] vs Thomas [Goodbehin?] - Cox & Williams vs James Hender=
sons [Lesse?] - Chaney & Dale vs E Hickmans [Lesse?]-
In testimony wherof I have hereunto set my hand & caused the Great
seal of the state to be affixed at Nashville this 19 day of Augt 1827
