The Court there proceeded to elect a sheriff and
upon ballotting therefor [sic] Josiah W. Hicks is
duly and constitutionally elected sheriff
for Robertson County for the ensuing two
years who entered into bond with security
conditioned as the law directs and qualified
arguable to law -

I certify the above to be a true copy of the
Recerd [sic] of the proceedings had in the election
for Sheriff & In Testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand
& affixed the seal of said
Court at office in Springfield
this 16^th day of May 1833
