Sir-

By a resolution of the Senate it is made
my duty to send certain printed lists of the pensioners
of the United States to each, court of record in the
respective States.-

To enable me to carry this resolution into
effect, I have to request that you will cause to be
furnished to this office, the number of courts of record
with the respective post office in each county of the
State over which you preside.-
