September Sessions 1835
Tuesday 15^th Sept 1835

The court proceeded to elect a Sheriff for
Jefferson County, for the ensuing two years
James Bradford [is?] nominated and after
Counting out votes It appeared that the
Said James Bradford was duly elected
Sheriff for Jefferson County who appeared
in open court and elected into Bond
with Security for the faithful discharge of
the dutys [sic] of Sheriff and took the necessary
oaths of office Given under my hand
and seal the 17^th September 1835
