Among the number of applicants for the
office of attorney general, the friends of
Mr Brown of this place wish him to be
considered as one, Mr Brown himself from
a sense of delicacy will not personally
interfere- He is a lawyer of long & respecta
ble standing from Pennsylvania highly,
& deservedly, esteemed here as a man &
as a lawyer & would discharge the office
of attorney general with great propriety
