Clarksville March 2nd 1828

Dear Sir

Your kind letter was handed to me on
yesterday, for the honour you do me accept my
kind thanks. I will accept of the appointment
tendered me by you, and hope that I may ^be enabled
to discharge of duties agreably to the wishes of my
Friends in the number of whom sir I am proud to [?]
yourself. I will be in attendance by the 2nd munday
in the present month. We have nothing new from [is?]
all well
