Sir, Daniel Allen
is a very industrious farmer and on respectable
standing in this section of Country He
has a large family of children whose future char-
acter and fortune will greatly depend on that
of their Father, The lamentable situation in
which he is placed at this time, was pro-
duced by a connection of circumstances of
the most aggravating nature-

Should you Sir think it expedient, to extend
a pardon to him entire, or in part, I have
no hesitancy in saying that I believe it
wil meet with the entire approbation of a
large majority of the most respectable citizens
of this County
