street sir after my best respects to you we have had a report
in our cuntrey stateing that your honner had offred a reward
for one Elijah skidmoor & william skidmore & sertin William Jons
who had Escaped the Jail of that place under a charge of feleny
After sentence of Death had passd on them & was now going at large
Deer sir if it be the case if you will forward on one of your
auertisments by the male to me I think I can haue them befour
your honner [oncet moor? on cetmoor?] but if there is nothing of it I wish you to
let me know by the male assoon as possibel for they are as shi as
the wildist buck in these mountains I would be glad to haue a line
from you on the subject at all events as we may know the truth
of the matter sir if you right to me Direct your leter to Lawrance county
