Sir

your first and only resignation that has ever
come within my reach or knowledge, was put
in my hand yesterday, dated 10th inst -

The earliest attention shall be paid
to the subject, as I presume the time
for holding courts in the 3d circuit must be
fast approaching. mr Isaacks stands
highly recommended as any Gentlemen
can do,
The signatures ^of ten Gentlemen your self one and
all the others ^Gentlemen of the Bar as I presume, are
attached to the recommendation, of mr
Isaacks, and
I have frequently when speaking
of your successor, to those ^to whose claims
I was compelled to attend, altho the [sic] lived
out of the limits of the Circuit, I uniformly
