Sir,

Inclosed I forward to you the descrip
tion of persons charged with capital offen
ces and ^who were in my Custody as Jailer of
Maury County having made as great
exertion as is within the compass of my
power and as yet having failed I
believeing my duty have forwarded
you a description that you may adopt
