Sir
I take the liberty to enclose you some resolutions entered into by a large Majority of the Field, and staff officers of my Brigade on the 3rd Instant. with a request that you will forward the same to the Legis lature of this state at their present session. with such remarks from yourself on the present Militia law as you may thing proper to make
I am anxious as to myself, that the drills should be continued, say six days in place of four, provided we can be furnished with Camp equipage Rations &c - There is no doubt in my mind but it would be of great advantage to the Mili =tia o fthis state
with respect your ob servt
