in whose legal abilities and integrity you can confide
I am also informed that Jacob C Isaacks Esq will be
an applicant for the appointment, with whom you no doubt
are acquainted

your warm and decided supporter from no other reason or

determine but if I have been correctly informed he was

of health I was in when you were at Washington which
Ilness has [?] impaired my lungs and destroyed my voice
insomuch that I am compelled to relinquish a large
