Dear Sir

Maj Thomas J. Campbell
has resigned his appointment as Solicitor
for the 5th District. It will I become necessary
I suppose that a pro tem appointment should
be made for this appointment Samul B. Moore
Esquire
will be an applicant I have known
Mr Moore several years have practised Law with
him, and take great pleasure in stating that
he is a young man of unquestionably good
character and good morals. I can also say
without hesitation that he is a very attentive correct
and safe Lawyer of his age, and I have no doubt
may be safely trusted with the management of
State prosecutions

I have the honour to be
with sentiments of high
Esteem
your Friend
