We the undersigned
Justices of the Court of quoram [sic] for the county
aforesaid, have been acquainted with James Rogers
Esquire and having Witnessed, his skill and integrity
as a solicitor heretofore, have thought proper to
appoint him solicitor Pro Tem in the
Room of Thomas J. Campbell resigned, for the
present Term of this Court, and do recommend
him as a person well qualified to fill that office
and hope that our appointment will be realized
by the executive &C
