Considerations of
interest and convenience have induced
me to resign the office of attorney ge-
neral of the seventh district. You will
therefore please to accept and consider
this as my resignation of the same.

Permit me sir, through you, to tender my
thanks to the legislature for their former
patronage; and for yourself, be assured of
my high consideration and respect. -
