Sir,

The Gen^l court martial have the honor
to acknowledge the receipt of your Excellency's
communication dissolving said court - They request
that your Excellency will use your own discretion
with respect to the publication of the whole or
any part of the proceedings of the court-

The General court martial reciprocate
with much satisfaction, the grateful acknow-
ledgements, your Excellency has been pleased
to express; and hope the [earning?] of your life,
may be as satisfactory and useful to you
and your friends, as your public serviceis [sic]
have been benificial [sic] to your country-
