mency . He is in a declining state of health, and perhaps the con-
fines of a prison might produce his death. I deem it unne
cissary [sic] to say any thing about the frailty of the human
famaly [sic], or commisseration, as your experiance [sic] in life
forbids it. I am confident a pardon will meet the approbation
of all who is acquainted with the transaction
