is impressed with the conviction, that such a
systematic trade in man, must be attended
with excessive cruelty and wrong to the objects of
it, and involves in its prosecution a fearful
extent of barbarity and hardness of heart
on the part of the man Trader, and that
effectual means ought to be forthwith taken
in the United Stated of America, to remove
this stain from the character of that
nation.
