(Missing) hereby acknowledge to have received of the United
States, by the hands of James R. Butler, (initials unreadable) the
following Arms, & c. viz:-

1816 hefty " equal in value to 1376 7/13 muskets
580 Pitols new pattern
290 Sabres ' '
290 ST Cavly accoutrements

The whole being equivalent to {handwritten} thirteen hundred & seventy-six 7/13 Muskets, which are
received on account of the quota of Arms due to the State of Tennessee
under the Act of April, 1808, for arming and equipping the whole body of Militia;
and for which I have signed triplicate receipts.
