By his Excellency, Benjamin Williams,
OUR GOVERNOR, CAPTAIN GENERAL, AND COMMANDER IN CHIEIF IN AND OVER THE
STATE AFORESAID.
To all to whom these presents shall come,
Know Ye, That the Name
"Will. White" subscribes to the Copy
of the Resolution hereunto annexed
in the proper hand writing
of William White Esquire, who
was at the time of signing the
Same, and now is the Secretary
for the [illegible] State.
Therefore all due Faith, Credit, and Au-
thority, is and ought to be had and given to his Proceedings and
Certificates as such.
In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my Hand,
and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State, in the
City of Raleigh, this first Day of January in the Year of
our Lord one Thousand eight Hundred and two and in the
XXVI th Year of the Independence of the United
States of America.
