Knoxville 6th February 1804.~

Sir

As soon as you return to Nashville with your
Regiment of Mounted Infantry you will please have
those Companies belonging to Mero District mustered out
of service, and those belonging to the Districts of Washington
and Hamilton, as soon as they have returned to their
respective Districts- You will please call on Bennet Searcy
esquire to muster out of service the ^horses as well as the men belonging
to Mero District, and request him to forward lists of the same
certified by himself to the Office of the Secretary of this
state, as soon thereafter as may be practicable.-

Your good disposition towards the brave men who have
so readily offered their services at their country`s call
will not suffer you to neglect to have regular and well
authenticated accounts made out, in order that your
Regiment
