Regiment may have every species of allowance, to which they
are entitled - I am requested by the President of the
United States to inform you, and through you the Officers
and privates of your Regiment, that he feels the highest
regard and respect for all those who have rendered their
services at their Country's call.~

The Secretary of the War Department has been
wrote to on the subject of Compensation to your Regiment,
he requests that Muster and pay Rolls, may be forwarded
immediately after your return, that payment may be made
without delay, which information you will please give
the Regiment-
